Cold-formed steel, concrete and steel construction, features three buildings including a healthy living facility, a short-term stay facility, and an independent living facility totaling 140 housing unites and a $66 million construction cost.

 

Norterre, a master-planned seniors housing community in the Kansas City suburb of Liberty.  Norterre is housed on a 17-acre site adjacent to Liberty Hospital. A 50,000-square-foot healthy living center will act as the center of the community. The seniors housing portions of the community are based on the household model. The architectural style of the community is unique to the Midwest, yet incorporates time-honored elements of the historical city.  The buildings will surround a large greenspace filled with outdoor art and cultural activities.
